What is die casting?

Die casting is a metal casting process that is characterized by the use of a mold cavity to apply the high pressure to the smelted metal. Molds are usually processed from alloys with higher strength.

The die casting process is primarily used for mass production of products with high precision and excellent casting surface (mass production). In mass production, apart from achieving high precision of the product, its short molding time and economy are particularly outstanding. Depending on the materials used, the life of a set of die casting molds can reach thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dies.
