Custom Surface Treatment Services
Surface Treatment Services We Offer
Enhance the performance, durability and appearance of your machined, die cast and molded parts with our comprehensive surface treatment services.

Anodizing
A protective surface treatment for aluminum parts that enhances corrosion resistance, durability, and appearance. Available in various colors, including natural, black, blue, red, and more.

Electroplating
Applies a metal coating to improve corrosion resistance, conductivity, and surface appearance. Available finishes include zinc, chrome, nickel, gold, silver, and tin plating.

Sand Blasting
Uses abrasive particles to create a uniform matte or textured surface, improving surface finish, adhesion, and appearance while removing burrs and oxidation layers.

Electropolishing
An electrochemical process that removes surface imperfections, improving smoothness, corrosion resistance, and surface cleanliness.

Brushing
Creates linear textures on the surface through abrasive processing, enhancing the decorative appearance. Available in straight, random, wave, and circular patterns.

Polishing
Creates a smooth surface finish with enhanced reflectivity and a refined appearance.
More Surface Treatment Options
Besides the six finishes above, we also offer the following surface treatment services.
| Finish | Description | Application |
|---|---|---|
As-Machined | The baseline finish straight off the machine, with visible tool marks. No extra processing, lowest cost. | Prototypes and functional parts where appearance does not matter |
Bead Blasting | Fine glass bead media creates an even matte or satin surface and clears tool marks and parting lines. Also preps a surface for coating. | Die cast parts needing parting lines removed, consumer products, pre-coat prep |
Tumbling & Deburring | Abrasive media and vibration break edges and smooth surfaces across a whole batch at once — ideal for small or complex parts. | High-volume small components, edge break, deburring |
Chromate Conversion Coating | A thin chemical conversion film on aluminum that adds corrosion resistance while keeping the surface electrically conductive. | Electronics housings, EMI shielding, paint primer |
Powder Coating | Dry powder applied electrostatically and cured under heat into a hard, durable film. Resists wear, corrosion and UV, and holds color consistently across a production run. | Outdoor equipment, industrial machinery, enclosures, consumer products |
Liquid Painting | Spray-applied wet paint for appearance and protection, including color matching to a sample or paint code. | Appearance parts, touch-up, low-volume color runs |
Silk-Screen Printing | Ink printed directly onto flat surfaces for legends, control panels, scales and logos. | Control panels, instrument faces, branding on flat parts |
Laser Engraving & Marking | A laser etches permanent marks — logos, serial numbers, part numbers, UDI and QR codes. | Traceability and part ID, branding, medical UDI marking |
Passivation | A chemical treatment for stainless steel that removes free iron from the surface and restores the passive oxide layer, improving corrosion resistance. | Medical, food processing, aerospace stainless parts |
Black Oxide | A chemical conversion coating on steel that produces a black matte surface with moderate corrosion resistance, usually finished with oil or wax. | Tools, machine components, parts needing glare reduction |
